Do you have a habit you wish you could break?
Coffee -- it costs too much, tears up the gut and produces the need for too many teeth whitening products. Still -- ain't gonna happen.

Unfortunately the media has tried the Casey Anthony case as if Caylee Anthony is not alive. While the odds may not be in Caylee's favor, more than a remote possibility exists that Caylee was abandoned, neglected or given away. A worse scenario is accidental death and a coverup. Yet, some facts in the case are difficult to get around -- it would take a true sociopath to party on with a missing or murdered child. Is Casey Anthony such a monster?

It's not the students leading the pack for a lower drinking age minimum of 18, but presidents of universities across the country. Met with much criticism, the movement called Amethyst Initiative already has signed on some big name schools as supporters.
Read about the debate, which schools are on board, and critics such as MADD, and see if you think a lower minimum drinking age is a good deal or a bad one........
Amethyst Initiative Hopes to Lower Drinking Age
States May Reconsider the Minimum Drinking Age in 2009
So far the comments on the article seem to favor the Amethyst Initiative...surprising.
When
a shooting occurs, public sympathy usually envelopes the victim(s) and
their family, as it should. Undoubtedly, Arkansas residents will offer
their support for Bill Gwatney, and pray for a speedy recovery.
Unfortunately, for the victims, speculation replaces sympathy too quickly when a violent crime occurs in a political arena.

Remember Wacky Packages?
Wacky Packages stickers (trading cards), first produced by Topps in 1967, evoke
fond flower-power, gum-popping memories for many not-quite-yet baby
boomers. Wacky Packages lampooned popular
commercial products, from Listerine (Blisterine) to cigarettes (Paul
Maul), unless or until the company received a Cease and Desist order
otherwise.
Writing about Wacky Packages was a fun trip down memory lane and I found some fun Wacky Pages games, photos and collector stickers in the process: Article:

Sometimes a paper TV listing guide trumps a digital format, but not for the 2008 Olympics TV schedule. Whether you have to share your HDTV with other Olympics aficionados or can't play hooky from work to accommodate the Beijing Olympics coverage, both online and offline options exist. Pretty cool ones at that.
I'm lucky as mostly all I care about is the USA gymnastics and the rest of the household is even less athletically inclined.
Read on for a how-to on the 2008 Olympics TV schedule and where to find Olympics coverage and videos

Today is Senator Barack Obama's birthday, which at the age of 47 makes him a youngin' in the presidential campaign. For some voters, however, it is not Barack Obama's birthday that is relevant but whether or not Obama's birth certificate is a forgery.
Why would Obama present a fake birth certificate? Maybe he didn't, but newly released so-called evidence does pose some interesting questions -- ones that voters can analyze for themselves concerning visual discrepancies. And, surprise, some claim Obama's birth certificate belongs to ....a woman (read on)

After learning how to make 3D glasses, at least in theory, I thought I would give it a shot. Partly to satisfy my curiosity and more importantly to be prepared when one of my little buddies comes to visit soon.
Ever kid a kid excited about a project and, then learn midstream, you really don't know what you're doing? Not cool.
All I can say is that video instructions prove most helpful when learning how to make plastic 3D glasses. They're not particularly hard, but the sunglass version require more precision.
