Should you learn Twitter?
With the theme of "What Next?" (BIG next year) I entered a writing contest, though really not in the zone. Still, using my powers of perception and educated guestimation, I chose Twitter, specifically: 5 Good Reasons to Learn How to Use Twitter for Business and Personal Use
I predict that, Twitter will be a formidable microblogging leader in 2009, despite Google's interest in Jaiku. And, "How to Use Twitter", for business or otherwise, will be a HOT question. Some of my reasoning is in the article, confined by the constraints of the writing contest...
Though we're seeing some great Twitter app development and creativity in Twitter feeds, such that netizens only surface its potential.

New ways of advertising
Emergency response
Improved or worsened reporting and journalism
Gets pownced by Jaiku
New mental health classification for Twitter addiction.

So tonight I'm up with my weather phobic friend waiting for Armageddon. The anxiety is contagious.
Lots of bad weather and potential tornadoes expected, but what's new? This is Arkansas. Having lived here for five months, I pivoted from complete apathy towards weather to a true fascination of it. I even began posting photos on Accuweather, Lord help me.

And, if you want a chuckle at my expense, read what this idiot did during her indoctrination with a weather radio.
Normal people don't stay up until 6am filming electrical storms...hear the birds? And if this 15 sec clip has you riveted there is more...
