Do you have a habit you wish you could break?

Coffee -- it costs too much, tears up the gut and produces the need for too many teeth whitening products. Still -- ain't gonna happen. 

The main benefit I see with the new search engine Cuil is privacy and the layout as explained in this article, "New Search Engine Cuil is a Cool Search for Privacy," but I'm not overly impressed. If you find something especially useful about the "cool search" let us know.

Which small businesses are hurt most by rising gas prices? What can they do to save money?

Cafe's and coffee shops would seem to have it quite difficult these days, between the rising cost of gas for their customers who patron less and the increase in overhead -- from eggs to vegetables.

Though such places are competitors, they could group together to buy more staples in bulk and consider more collective advertising to reduce rates and increase exposure. While many customers frequent the same coffee shop, most like a little variety in their dinning, so cross promotion with effective discounts would seem to gain more sales.

It may even be worthwhile to work with communities to feed the hungry, using food that is fit but that doesn't meet business needs standards. Such donations may be either tax-deductible, provide free word-of-mouth advertising or both.
